Color grading is one of the most important stages of video post-production — the step that defines a video's emotional atmosphere. The right grade elevates amateur footage to cinematic quality. At Emma Studio, we work in DaVinci Resolve — the industry standard for color grading. We create custom LUTs for your project, ensuring a consistent aesthetic throughout. We grade films, commercials, music videos, wedding films, and any other video project.

Color Grading — Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between color correction and color grading?
Color correction fixes technical issues (exposure, white balance). Color grading creates the artistic aesthetic — mood, atmosphere, style.
What format should I deliver my footage in?
LOG or RAW formats are ideal (S-Log, V-Log, C-Log, BRAW). ProRes and 10-bit H.265 also work well. 8-bit H.264 offers less flexibility.
How does color grading differ from color correction?
Color correction means fixing the colors (white balance, exposure, contrast) so everything looks natural. Color grading is the stylistic layer on top — a cinematic look, teal-and-orange, vintage, moody. Even Hollywood films go through correction first, then grading.
What's included in the price — are there hidden fees?
The price you see on this page is final. It covers the shoot, hands-on editing, high-resolution photo delivery, and an online gallery. Add-on services (large-format printing, photo albums, rush delivery) are priced separately and agreed upon in advance.
How do I pay — which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfer, card payments at the studio (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and online payments via TBC Pay and BOG iPay. A small deposit (30%) is due at booking; the balance is paid on the day of the shoot or upon delivery.
Where are you located? Is parking available?
Emma Studio is located at 29 Zovreti Street in Saburtalo. Our second address is 70 Alexander Kazbegi Avenue.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Rescheduling is free if you let us know at least 48 hours in advance. For last-minute changes or cancellations, the deposit is non-refundable, since the date was blocked and we couldn't take another booking. In cases of emergency or illness, we handle things reasonably.
