How long does it take to make a documentary?
It depends on the project — a short documentary takes 1–2 months, a feature-length film 3–6 months or more.
Do you help with festival submissions?
Yes — we offer consulting on festival selection, materials preparation, and the submission process.
What's the production timeline for a documentary?
Short (15–20 minutes) — 2–3 months. Mid-length (30–45 minutes) — 4–6 months. Feature-length (60+ minutes) — 6–12 months. This covers pre-production (research, interview recording), production (filming), and post-production (editing, sound, color grading).
What's included in the price — are there hidden fees?
The price you see on this page is final. It covers the shoot, hand editing, high-resolution photo delivery, and an online gallery. Additional services (large-format printing, photo albums, rush delivery) are priced separately and agreed in advance.
How do I pay — what payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfer, card payments at the studio (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and online payments via TBC Pay and BOG iPay. A small deposit (30%) is due at booking; the balance is paid on the day of the shoot or when you receive your photos.
Where are you located? Is there parking?
Emma Studio is located at 29 Zovreti Street in Saburtalo. Our second address is 70 Alexander Kazbegi Avenue.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Rescheduling is free with at least 48 hours' notice. For last-minute changes or cancellations, the deposit is non-refundable — your date was blocked and we couldn't take another booking. In cases of emergency or health issues, we approach things reasonably.
