Two weeks. Then everything changes.
A newborn in the first days is something else entirely - still curling into womb-like poses, sleeping deeply, with that calm on the tiny face that soon disappears. From around day 15 the baby “wakes up”: moves more, sleeps less, and that special just-born tenderness never comes back. That is why a newborn photoshoot is planned for days 5-14 after birth - and why booking happens while you are still pregnant.
For us, newborn photography is safety first and aesthetics second. The photographer is certified in working with newborns: knowing how to hold a baby, which poses are safe and which are never attempted. Complex poses are created through compositing (merging two frames), so the baby is never at physical risk for a single second. The studio is heated to 26-28°C and every prop is hygienically prepared.
And while we photograph the little one, the parents step into the frame too - a mother’s hands, a baby asleep on the father’s chest, the first family portrait. Years later these are the photos that turn out to be the most precious: the two weeks when everything had just begun.

A photographer trained in working with newborns - safe posing, correct handling, an unhurried pace. The baby’s comfort always comes first, the frame second.

A temperature of 26-28°C so the unwrapped baby never gets cold; hygienically prepared props; a calm space with a place for feeding and breaks.

Professional props
Baskets, wraps, hats, headbands and backdrops - everything is at the studio and included in the price. We pick the colours and theme together in advance, while you are still pregnant.

10-30 hand-retouched photos
Depending on the package - 10, 20 or 30 frames with gentle, fine-art retouching: natural skin tone, soft light, no heavy filters. Every frame is edited individually and comes print-ready.

Family frames
A mother’s hands, the baby asleep on the father’s chest, sibling frames - at no extra charge. The first family portrait often becomes the main photo of the album.

A newborn shoot is the only one where the schedule is written entirely by the baby. So everything is planned in advance - you simply arrive with your little one.

Booking during pregnancy
Ideally you book in month 7 of pregnancy - we reserve space in the calendar around your due date. Together we choose the style, colours and set-ups.

Confirming the exact day
You write to us right after the birth and we agree on the exact day - days 5-14 are ideal. The studio is pre-heated to 26-28°C and the props are laid out in your chosen theme.

The shoot
2-3 hours at an unhurried pace - with feeding and soothing breaks as often as needed. First the sleeping baby set-ups, then the parent and family frames.

Delivery
We select the best frames, retouch each one in a gentle fine-art style and send you the online gallery within 7-10 working days - high resolution, ready for print.

Ideally in month 7 of pregnancy - we reserve space in the calendar around your due date. The shoot itself happens on days 5-14 after birth: you write to us right after the baby arrives and we agree on the exact day.
Is it safe for a newborn?+
Absolutely - it is our #1 priority. The photographer is certified in newborn safety: how to hold the baby and which poses are safe. Complex poses are created through compositing (merging two frames), so the baby is never at physical risk. The studio is kept at 26-28°C and hygiene is handled with special care.
What should we bring?+
Almost nothing - props, wraps, hats and backdrops are all at the studio. Bring food, spare nappies and a calm mood. Feeding and soothing breaks are a natural part of the shoot.
What if the baby cries or won’t sleep?+
Completely normal - the baby sets the pace of the shoot. We stop, wait, take a feeding break and continue when the little one is ready. That is exactly why 2-3 hours are set aside: nobody is in a hurry, neither we nor you.
Can parents and siblings join the frame?+
We insist on it - the first family portrait and sibling frames are not charged extra. These are the photos that will become the most precious years from now.
Is it too late after day 14?+
No, a shoot is still possible - the poses will simply differ: after day 15 the baby sleeps less and no longer curls into womb-like poses. Days 5-14 are ideal for the best result, but beautiful frames come out at any age.
What is included in the price - any hidden fees?+
The price you see on the page is final. It includes the shoot, the props, hand retouching, high-resolution delivery and the online gallery. Extras (large-format prints, a photo album, express delivery) are priced separately and agreed in advance.
How do I pay - which payment methods do you accept?+
We accept cash, bank transfer, card payment at the studio (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and online payment via TBC Pay and BOG iPay. A small deposit (30%) is due at booking; the rest on the day of the shoot or when you receive the photos.
