A newborn in the first days is something else entirely - still curling into womb-like poses, sleeping deeply, with that calm on the tiny face that soon disappears. From around day 15 the baby “wakes up”: moves more, sleeps less, and that special just-born tenderness never comes back. That is why a newborn photoshoot is planned for days 5-14 after birth - and why booking happens while you are still pregnant.
For us, newborn photography is safety first and aesthetics second. The photographer is certified in working with newborns: knowing how to hold a baby, which poses are safe and which are never attempted. Complex poses are created through compositing (merging two frames), so the baby is never at physical risk for a single second. The studio is heated to 26-28°C and every prop is hygienically prepared.
And while we photograph the little one, the parents step into the frame too - a mother’s hands, a baby asleep on the father’s chest, the first family portrait. Years later these are the photos that turn out to be the most precious: the two weeks when everything had just begun.

Baskets, wraps, hats, headbands and backdrops - everything is at the studio and included in the price. We pick the colours and theme together in advance, while you are still pregnant.

Depending on the package - 10, 20 or 30 frames with gentle, fine-art retouching: natural skin tone, soft light, no heavy filters. Every frame is edited individually and comes print-ready.

A newborn shoot is the only one where the schedule is written entirely by the baby. So everything is planned in advance - you simply arrive with your little one.
Ideally you book in month 7 of pregnancy - we reserve space in the calendar around your due date. Together we choose the style, colours and set-ups.
You write to us right after the birth and we agree on the exact day - days 5-14 are ideal. The studio is pre-heated to 26-28°C and the props are laid out in your chosen theme.
2-3 hours at an unhurried pace - with feeding and soothing breaks as often as needed. First the sleeping baby set-ups, then the parent and family frames.
We select the best frames, retouch each one in a gentle fine-art style and send you the online gallery within 7-10 working days - high resolution, ready for print.
