A Cake Smash session at Emma Studio unfolds in three stages. First, we photograph your baby clean and dressed up — the 'before the cake' shots. That can be a festive dress, a little suit, or a birthday hat. Then comes the cake smash itself — your baby is left alone with the cake to react naturally. Some babies touch it cautiously, others go face-first — both are wonderfully photogenic! Third, if your little one is up for it, we can add a splash/bath session — a small tub with bubbles.
For Cake Smash sessions, Emma Studio builds a full set to your liking — color scheme, balloons, a number '1', a banner, and a fluffy rug. You bring the cake (we recommend a soft cream cake, not fondant), or we can suggest our partner bakery. Every prop is safe and specifically chosen for babies this age.
A tip for parents: choose a cake that's photogenic yet baby-safe — not overly sweet, with soft cream. Pastel colors look most beautiful in photos. Bring 2–3 outfits — one for the clean shots, one as a backup. And don't worry about the mess — our studio is ready for anything, and we handle the cleanup.

Who provides the cake?
You bring the cake. We recommend a soft cream cake (not fondant) so your baby can break into it easily. We're happy to suggest our partner bakery.
What if my baby doesn't like the cake?
It happens sometimes! A cautious reaction is wonderfully photogenic too. If your baby refuses entirely, we have alternatives — fruit, bubbles, or toys.
Will my baby's clothes get ruined?
During the cake stage, babies usually get messy. Bring an outfit you don't mind ruining, or keep your baby in just a diaper or bodysuit.
What's included in the price — any hidden fees?
The price you see on this page is final. It covers the shoot, hand-editing, high-resolution photo delivery, and an online gallery. Add-ons (large-format prints, photo albums, rush delivery) are priced separately and agreed on in advance.

How do I pay — what payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfer, card payments at the studio (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and online payments via TBC Pay and BOG iPay. A small deposit (30%) secures your booking; the balance is due on the day of the shoot or upon photo delivery.
Where are you located? Is there parking?
Emma Studio is located at 70 Al. Kazbegi Avenue, where Vake meets Saburtalo. There's free parking in front of the building — for larger groups we can fit 2–3 cars together. It's a 10-minute taxi ride from the city center and a 5-minute walk from Stadioni metro station.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Rescheduling is free with at least 48 hours' notice. For last-minute changes or cancellations, the deposit is non-refundable, since the date was reserved and other clients were turned away. In cases of emergency or illness, we handle things with understanding.
